Heart disease, stroke and diabetes are the top three killers in Micronesia. This rampant problem is due, in large part, to the type of diet and lifestyle of the population—both young and old.
In 2004, the Wellness Center was established on the atoll of Majuro in the Marshall Islands. It has become a beacon of hope throughout Micronesia. Diabetes reversal is no longer something discussed in scientific journals alone—it is a reality to those who once suffered but have experienced major lifestyle and health changes thanks to the expertise of the Canvasback Wellness Team.
